Boyolali District is a district in Central Java province. The capital is Boyolali, located about 25 km west of the city of Surakarta. This district is bordered by Grobogan District in the north; Sragen, Karanganyar district, and city of Surakarta (Solo) in the east; Klaten district in the south; and regency of Magelang and Semarang regency in the west.
The eastern district includes the area Solo. In the district there Boyolali Adisumarmo International Airport which serves for Solo and sekitarya region, as well as dormitories Donohudan pilgrimage.
